The BEE 3-day Local Phase training was held in Madeira, Portugal.
In December, for three intensive days, 10 young Portuguese adults aged 18 to 35 participated in the BEE training workshop, both in-person and online, organised by our partner Startup Madeira. The workshop aimed to equip them with essential tools and foundational knowledge about entrepreneurship in the blue economy. During the training, they explored and tested the 7-Module E-Course developed as part of this project.
Participants learned more about the BEE project, the EntreComp model and the 15 key competences, a tool that fosters the development of entrepreneurial competence at the European level.
During these days the participants also had the opportunity to meet:
– Local entrepreneur Thiago Gomes, CEO at BioReboot, to talk about his project and principles of social & sustainable entrepreneurship.
– João Freitas, from the Employment Promotion and Entrepreneurship Division, of Instituto de Emprego da Madeira, to share local business creation and employment programs, such as CRIEE.
A big thank you to all the participants and experts who shared their stories, opinions and views with us!
